So important to listen to your inner guidance, Kim. I wish you well in your healing journey, and I appreciate you sharing your thoughts on going analogue. May you find peace and inspiration.
So glad you're going rogue (not really, I just like your phrasing). This is my current thinking/challenge as well: designing a life (post-employment) that works with my body/brain rather than against it, as it has been for most of my adult life.
And I'm so happy that working with Chelene is providing you with the tools you need to redesign your life.
More analog! I’ve tried to set up my work space for more hands-on work—drawing (badly), collage, erasure—in addition to keyboard/computer. Am also trying to find the balance between in person & online. But as a full-time/hands-on caregiver, in person can be challenging! I do love all that you write about writing & especially at this time in your life. How the universe/your body is making you consider how to engage & with what. An important voice right now! Thank you.
I dream of this, of going back to those halcyon days before I bought a cell phone. It feels impossible. But I wish you the best…I’m hoping it’s as great as it sounds.
I’m just working up to taking social apps off my phone. I can still know what’s happening in the world w/out them. It’s definitely an interesting process…
Yes, sister. This really is a thing. Well done.

I love this, Kim. ❤️
So proud of you Kim. You have inspired me more than you’ll ever know!! ❤️🙌🏽
It’s mutual. ❤️🙏

Less social media is my goal. The phone is just a gateway. Seeing how I can reduce addiction and noise of socials.
Yes, I have thought about a flip phone on and off forever. I try to limit to times of day, but when shit is happening, it’s hard to look away. ❤️
